It’s one thing to sit in a classroom studying financial planning, but what if undergraduates had the chance to spend three days networking with thousands of registered investment advisors while also learning from some of the financial services industry’s leading thinkers?
Launched in 2013, the Olivet College President’s Leadership Institute develops top leadership among Olivet’s students, helping them to become the principal professional and community leaders of the future. As the fifth PLI class is approaching graduation on March 22, 2017, fellows of the first and second classes are now established professionals in their careers or pursuing further education.
Cassidy Hath had three requirements on her college wish list: a psychology program, a cheer team and a small campus with moderate class sizes to allow for easy access to individualized attention. Olivet College fit the bill. A full-tuition scholarship? That was just the cherry on top.
Eight Olivet College students who are members of the band will perform in the 45th annual Michigan Intercollegiate Honor Band. The performance will be held in McNamara Rehearsal Hall in the Howard Music Building on the Hillsdale College campus Saturday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.

An insurance career is not only challenging and rewarding, it’s also in-demand and offers higher than average wages. High school students have started to recognize the opportunity.
Olivet College is proud to present Cultivating Women Leaders: Embracing Our Inner Strength, an annual event designed to inspire and equip young women to embrace their inner strength and realize their potential as responsible leaders. The event comes as part of the Presidential Women’s Leadership Initiative, chaired by Presidential Spouse Traci Corey.

Join the Young Alumni, 1844 and Distinguished Alumni honorees Oct. 6 at 5:30 p.m. at the Cutler Event Center’s Hathaway Court for dinner and celebration.
